JACKSONVILLE, FLA. – Two people were injured in a shooting late Saturday night.
According to Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, officers responded to a person being shot around 11pm on Bankhead Avenue. This is in the Englewood area.
Before officers arrived, one male self- transported himself to a local hospital after sustaining one gunshot wound to the back. He is listed in critical condition.
A second man was transported from the scene to a local hospital after suffering multiple gunshot wounds to his arm and torso. He is listed in stable condition.
Investigators later revealed that a dispute occurred, which resulted in both males being shot. This appears to be an isolated incident and there is no further danger to the community at this time.
