Donna National Breast Cancer Marathon Forecast

This weekend marks the DONNA Marathon and the race should start and end before rain increases Sunday afternoon and evening.

The cool sunny weather all week long will extend into Saturday for the FIS DONNA 5K and the planned DONNA Dash but the clear skies and dry conditions will give way to a slow moving upper low that is set to bring rain Sunday evening through Monday night.

The onshore flow could bring in a light shower but it would be brief and light.

Morning running temps at the 7:30 am start will be in the upper 50s at Jacksonville Beach with mostly cloudy skies. Winds will be blowing around 12 mph from the Southeast but wind chills will not be a factor.

Winds will become gusty for the slower runners after 11 am.

Rain in the Panhandle Sunday morning will likely hold off until the early Sunday afternoon before steadier rain arrives by the evening. Once it starts it will likely last all night long with up to an inch within steady light to moderate rainfall.
