A U.S. Army Intelligence Officer stationed at MacDill Air Force Base has been arrested on multiple felony charges, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office announced.
David McGillivray, 37, was taken into custody on April 2, 2025, at MacDill Air Force Base, with the assistance of military personnel. The arrest followed an investigation into a report from a victim who alleged that McGillivray forcefully restrained and sexually battered her at his residence on December 21, 2024.
McGillivray is charged with three counts of Sexual Battery (Force Likely to Cause Injury) and Aggravated Stalking.
“Predators who use violence to harm and control others have no place in our community,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “This arrest is a testament to the dedication of our detectives and the commitment we have to seeking justice for victims.”
The investigation is ongoing.
