Suspicious Death in Crystal River Being Investigated as Homicide

The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) is investigating the death of 67-year-old Kyle D Pazian, whose body was discovered inside a residence on Cherrywood Ct in Crystal River on Friday, April 11th, at approximately 10:45 A.M.

CCSO deputies and Citrus County Fire Rescue (CCFR) responded to the scene, where Pazian was pronounced deceased. Due to suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, detectives and crime scene specialists with the CCSO Criminal Investigations Division (CID) were called to the residence.

Preliminary information suggests the incident is being treated as a homicide. Detectives are actively pursuing the case and are currently interviewing several persons of interest.

The CCSO stated that there is no current indication of an ongoing threat to public safety. Residents can expect to see an increased law enforcement presence in the area as the investigation continues.

Sheriff Vincent commented, “Our Detectives are working diligently to provide answers to the Pazian family.
