PALM COAST, Fla. — A Palm Coast man was arrested after deputies say he exposed himself to employees at a drive-thru coffee shop while placing an order, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded May 13 to Ellianos Coffee after employees reported a customer exposing himself at the drive-thru window.
According to investigators, an employee told deputies a man driving a dark-colored van made inappropriate gestures while ordering, including rubbing a $20 bill over his erect penis through his shorts while attempting to draw attention to his genitals.
The employee reportedly became uncomfortable, left the drive-thru window, and alerted a second employee.
Authorities said the second employee then approached the window and allegedly observed the man with his penis exposed and “moving his penis around.”
The employee told detectives he completed the transaction and handed over the coffee because multiple vehicles were waiting behind the suspect and he wanted the man to leave.
Using investigative methods, detectives identified the suspect as 29-year-old Cory White of Palm Coast after investigators connected a phone number used during the order to a family rewards account.
Deputies also confirmed White’s vehicle was captured on cameras near the business around the time of the incident.
Detectives later conducted a photo lineup, and the employee positively identified White as the suspect.
On May 19, detectives interviewed White at his residence. According to investigators, White admitted being at the business and interacting with employees but denied exposing himself.
White allegedly told detectives it was possible employees saw the “outline” of his penis through his shorts. Investigators said White also admitted he struggles with urges and referenced prior legal trouble involving similar behavior.
Authorities noted White previously pleaded guilty in 2023 to indecent exposure after exposing himself to a victim in a GameStop parking lot.
“This is the second case in just a few months that we have arrested perverts exposing themselves to innocent workers at a drive-thru,” said Rick Staly. “This kind of behavior is disgusting, and no employee just trying to work should be exposed to this type of behavior.”
White was arrested for exposure of sexual organs, second offense, and transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility.
He was later released on a $2,500 bond.
Court records also show White previously pleaded no contest in 2023 to burglary of a structure, grand theft, and petit theft charges.
