Waves of rain are expected to dive into the area over the next several days but there will also be drier times to enjoy the outdoors.
This afternoon looks drier than this morning. Saturday morning should be rainy but Saturday afternoon and Sunday look drier compared to what’s ahead next week.
The first wave of rain and showers targets areas mainly south of 1-10 this morning. Look for a 50% chance of rain through lunchtime. This afternoon and evening will have less rain 30% compared to yesterday. Some storms are possible but overall a drier evening before the rain starts early Saturday.
Rain chances jump to 70% with predawn and morning rain Saturday. Wet conditions will diminish by the late afternoon hours tomorrow.
Father’s Day will likely have a brief lull in storm coverage with highs near 90. The timing of more storms during the late afternoon and evening thunderstorms is fuzzy but could be delayed into the evening.
Monday’s Juneteenth brings typical afternoon scattered t-storms before heavier rain develops mid-week.
