More than 523 Florida workers are being laid off as part of trucking giant Yellow Corp.’s winding down of operations.
The layoffs for the Nashville, Tennessee-based transportation holding company (Nasdaq: YELL) and its subsidiaries come as the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Aug. 6 and announced it will close down and sell the company’s assets, sister publication Kansas City Business Journal reported.
