It’s the first day of Winter! For us, that means sunny skies, sunglasses and flip flop socks.
Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies will become cloudy late tonight and continue Friday. Coastal showers possible along our beaches. Temperatures will return to near seasonal averages tomorrow and a little above average this weekend. Saturday will be warm and dry with cloudy skies and showers developing late Christmas eve. Scattered showers with isolated thunderstorms are expected on Christmas day.

Tonight: Partly cloudy skies, becoming cloudy late.
Friday: Partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies with near seasonal temperatures. A few coastal showers will be possible along the beaches from mainly St. Johns County and south, 10-20 percent. Morning lows in the 40s to low 50s for SE GA, 40s and 50s for NE FL. Afternoon highs in the low to mid 60s for SE GA, upper 60s to low 70s for NE FL. Cloudy skies continue overnight.
Hazards: Minor to moderate flooding continues along portions of the St. Marys and Sante Fe Rivers. Rip Currents. Christmas Day travel will include rain and storms.
Looking ahead: Scattered showers continue into early next week.
