Annual 5k Highlights Women’s Health, Wealth and Strength

The 15th annual Black Knight DONNA Mother’s Day 5K event drew more than 900 participants to the historic Riverside neighborhood to celebrate survivorship and moms everywhere on Mother’s Day weekend. Established in June 2003 by three-time breast cancer survivor and mayor-elect of Jacksonville, Donna Deegan, race proceeds fuel the foundations mission to provide financial assistance and support to those living with breast cancer and groundbreaking breast cancer research. To date, the DONNA Foundation has served 17,494 families, securing more than $4,900,000 in financial services for families living with breast cancer.
