Creekside High School Evacuated and Cleared After Bomb Threat Search

Creekside High School students and staff were safely evacuated to a nearby location on January 6, 2025, under a law enforcement escort following a reported threat. Deputies from the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office quickly responded to the scene.

Explosive Detection K9 Tonic, along with his handler, Deputy Stephanie Stuart, conducted a thorough search of the school with assistance from additional deputies. After an extensive search, no concerning items were discovered, and the school was deemed safe for reentry.

Students and staff are now in the process of returning to campus. Authorities have not released further details regarding the nature of the incident.
