Citrus County Authorities Search for Missing Woman Last Seen in Homosassa

UPDATE: On Thursday night, January 16, 2025, detectives with the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office located the body of 44-year-old Amy Lou McGlocklin.

This is an ongoing investigation. CCSO detectives will work closely with the medical examiners office to determine the cause and manner of Ms. McGlocklin’s death.

Citrus County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for 44-year-old Amy McGlocklin, who was reported missing on December 30, 2024. McGlocklin, a white female, is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 110 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen on December 23, 2024, in Homosassa, wearing a long-sleeved giraffe-print shirt, black shorts, and black Nike shoes. McGlocklin relies on a wheelchair for mobility, which she was using when last seen.

She has several tattoos, including a Chinese symbol on her neck, a cross on her back, a tribal symbol on her lower back, and the name “Michael Walter Allen Jr.” across her shoulders.
