OCALA, Fla. — Two 18-year-olds have been arrested after police say they filmed a social media stunt involving a lawn mower inside a retail store, causing damage and risking public safety.
According to the Ocala Police Department, the incident occurred April 25, 2026, at a Target store located on Southwest College Road.
Investigators said Janek Szkaradek drove a lawn mower through the store, damaging a door, while Luke Charske recorded the incident.
Police said the stunt followed another incident the night before, when Szkaradek allegedly used a leaf blower inside a nearby Culver’s restaurant.
Authorities said the actions endangered customers and employees and resulted in property damage.
Szkaradek was charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct related to the Culver’s incident, as well as disorderly conduct for the Target incident.
Charske was charged as a principal to disorderly conduct for his role in recording the stunt inside Target.
Police emphasized that such actions are not harmless and can lead to criminal charges.
