The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office announced Sunday afternoon that the missing endangered teen from the Northside was found safe.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement reported the 16-year-old missing as of January 28, but JSO considered the teen endangered on Saturday after her family reported her missing under suspicious circumstances, which prompted the sheriff’s office to reignite the alert.
The teen was believed to be traveling with a man in a red SUV. It’s unclear where she was found or if she was found with the man.
The Sheriff’s Office thanked everyone for their efforts in the search.
JSO is investigating the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
