In a major shakeup to Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan’s staff, Chief of Staff Pat McCollough will no longer serve in that role.
Right now, there is no word as to why the change is being made or what position or role McCollough could fill in the future.
McCollough served as Chief of Staff for the past five months and was Deegan’s campaign manager during her historic election.
McCollough made $230,000 a year in her position. No replacement has been named.
News4JAX reached out to the mayor’s office for comment but did not get an immediate response.
McCollough is a retired U.S. Marine Sergeant Major who has led regional, state and national public health, political, organizing, and advocacy campaigns.
