Hyperion Brewing Company closing doors after serving up brews in Springfield for nearly 7 years

The Hyperion Brewing Company will no longer be serving brews for the Springfield community after it officially closes its doors before April, the company announced in a Facebook post.

The brewing company, which has been open for six and a half years, said it made the difficult decision to not renew its lease and close as the Hyperion family wants to head in a different direction.

“We’ve made so many amazing friends and memories but, with our expanding family, we’ve decided to focus our time on this new dynamic,” the post read.

The last day to enjoy the brews and create lasting memories will be March 31. Official plans haven’t been announced but the company said it will have a blowout celebration before the final goodbye.
