A man who had been reported missing, and was later located by Jacksonville police, was arrested Thursday night in connection with a fatal altercation in the Golden Glades area off Hodges Boulevard.
Sources tell News4JAX Nicholas Cuzzort, 41, is being accused of 2nd-degree murder and attempted murder in the Tuesday night fight that left one man dead and another injured on Macapa Road, north of Beach Boulevard.
Officers said upon arrival, they found one man with non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital by paramedics for treatment.
Then, police said they found a second man injured inside a home. He died at the scene.
Investigators said one man shot the other during the fight, but they did not say which man was shot.
Cuzzort was reported missing and possibly endangered Tuesday morning, and he was later located safe by police.
