Another round of freezing temperatures, not just tonight

Chilly under sunny skies today then round two of freezing temperatures overnight.  Freezing to sub-freezing temperatures are expected mainly across our inland areas except for Nassau, Camden and Glynn counties.  We will return to near seasonal temperatures with increasing rain chances through midday Friday.  Another blast of cold air is waiting to chill down your weekend.

Tonight:  Clear and cold with a Freeze/Hard Freeze Warning.

Thursday:  Hard Freeze and Freeze Warning 9 p.m. – 8 a.m.  Partly cloudy skies and a little warmer.  Lows in the 20s across SE GA, 20s and 30s for NE FL with 30s and 40s along our beaches.  Afternoon highs in the upper 50s to 60s.  Wind NW 5-10 mph.  Partly cloudy skies with increasing rain chances after midnight.

Protect those Ps!

Pipes/Pools:  Cover, Wrap, Protect, Drip for Pipes.  If you are not using it, turn it off.  Let your pump run through the night if it is on a schedule.

Pets, Plants:  Pets need warm, wind-sheltered bedding.  Plants need a blanket too.

People:  Check in with neighbors, lend a hand if you can.

Scattered showers expected early Friday morning through around noon then turning cold again with morning temperatures cold enough to warrant watches and warnings.
