‘Honoring, loving, remembering’: Family of missing Brunswick boater to hold service celebrating his life

The family of one of the three boaters who went missing off the coast of Brunswick announced they will be holding a special service to honor and remember his life.

The three missing men — Tyler Barlow, Caleb Wilkinson and Dalton Conway — left Brunswick, Georgia on Oct. 14 for a fishing trip and were scheduled to return on Oct. 18, but they disappeared.

The families of the three young men have been searching for them for months now. So far, only debris from the Carol Ann boat has been found.

While keeping their hope is still alive, Barlow’s family has decided to honor, love and remember him with a special service in early February.

“Please keep our family in your prayers as we continue to plan Tyler’s special day. It will be a difficult but beautiful day full of love celebrating Tyler’s life,” his family wrote.

With the service, the family hopes to honor and love their “big-hearted, free-spirited, adventurous boy.”

“We continue to trust God, his will for Tyler’s life and know that God has always been by his side,” the family wrote.

The service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 3 at 3 p.m. at Christ’s Church Camden in Kingsland, Georgia.
