Urban Foodie’s Connect for Cocktails for a Feeding Cause

Laughter and the smell of wood-fire bbq smoke filled the air for the fourth annual Feeding Northeast Florida’s’ Bourbon & Brisket fundraiser held at Strings Sports Brewery in Springfield. Patrons joined volunteers from all over Duval County to support the region’s largest food bank that provides high-quality food for those in need. The event raises awareness about food insecurity and financial support for Feeding Northeast Florida’s work to provide healthy food and resources for the more than 260,000 individuals experiencing food insecurity in the food bank’s 12-county service area. The foodie experience showcased some of the city’s finest beverages, restaurants, distilleries, savory foods, delicious bites and sips throughout the evening. The event also featured whiskey tastings, a virtual/live auction, music and sharing delicious bites. Feeding Northeast Florida is the largest food bank serving Baker, Bradford, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, Putnam & St. Johns Counties.
