On Tuesday, September 13, 2022, Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Patrol Officers rushed to the 9300 block of 103rd Street after reports of a stabbing. Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department also arrived and transported the victim, Alan Williams, aged 63, to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office notified their Homicide and Crime Scene Units, initiating thorough investigations. Early on, Homicide Detectives pinpointed Husani L. Williams, aged 46, as a person of interest.
In the subsequent months, Detectives diligently pursued leads, culminating in the issuance of an arrest warrant for the suspect on Tuesday, March 5, 2024.
Finally, on Thursday, March 7, 2024, authorities located and apprehended the suspect, charging him with Murder.
