On May 22, 2024, at approximately 9:45 p.m., Port Orange Police units responded to a crash involving a passenger vehicle and a pedestrian on the 3400 block of Nova Road. The pedestrian, identified as 37-year-old Joshua SeeSholtz, was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash.
