Ormond Beach Man Charged with Manslaughter in 2023 Drug Overdose Case

After a year and a half investigation into a drug overdose that occurred in March 2023, an arrest has been made. Darin Nooe, 36, of Ormond Beach, was charged with manslaughter on Friday in connection with the death of a 20-year-old female victim. Nooe is accused of providing the victim with cocaine and fentanyl on the night of her death.

Nooe was already in custody at the Volusia County Branch Jail, having been arrested weeks after the victim’s death for possession of fentanyl and other narcotics at his residence. He is currently held with no bond status.
