Operation Knight Fall Leads to 13 Arrests, Large Drug Seizure, and Recovery of Firearms in Ken Knight Area

An 18-month undercover investigation by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO), dubbed “Operation Knight Fall,” resulted in 13 arrests, the seizure of significant quantities of illegal drugs, and the recovery of 16 firearms in the Ken Knight area. The investigation was launched following an anonymous tip from a community member, with a focus on drug trafficking and illegal firearms linked to violent and gang-related activities.

Results of Operation Knight Fall:

  • Arrests: 13 individuals charged with various drug trafficking, distribution, and firearm offenses.
  • Narcotics Seized:
    • 78.8 grams of fentanyl
    • 488.8 grams of powder cocaine
    • 67.9 grams of crack cocaine
    • 314.8 grams of methamphetamine
    • 1,849 grams of MDMA and ecstasy
    • 31.68 pounds of marijuana and 4.51 pounds of marijuana wax
    • 6.98 pounds of psychedelic mushrooms
    • 68.4 grams of oxycodone
  • Assets Confiscated:
    • $15,000 in cash
    • $35,000 in jewelry
    • 2 vehicles linked to drug distribution
    • 16 firearms, with two connected to previous shootings

The JSO emphasized the strong connection between drug and firearm trafficking and violence in the community, underscoring the importance of citizen involvement in reporting suspicious activities.
