$50,000 Reward Offered for Information in 2017 Florida Murder of Jaworski ‘JoJo’ Williams

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s help in solving the murder of Jaworski “JoJo” Williams, who was killed in Jasper, Florida, on December 30, 2017. The investigation into Williams’ death remains active as authorities continue to pursue leads in the cold case.

A reward of up to $50,000 is being offered by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and the Williams family for information leading to the arrest, indictment, and conviction of those responsible for his murder.

Williams, 44, was found deceased at his residence at 310 4th St NW, Jasper, with an autopsy revealing that the cause of death was a gunshot wound. Two fired projectiles recovered from his residence were believed to match those found during the autopsy. Williams was last seen in Live Oak at around 2:30 p.m. on the day of his death and had known ties to Lake City.

FDLE Commissioner Mark Glass urged anyone with information to come forward, saying, “FDLE is committed to solving JoJo’s murder and we are asking anyone to come forward with any little bit of information that can help solve this case. His family deserves to know who’s responsible so they can start the healing process.”

Hamilton County Sheriff J. Harrell Reid also called for assistance, emphasizing the confidentiality of tips: “As Sheriff, I would like to ask anyone who has knowledge to please reach out to us. Your information will not be public. Please help us solve this homicide.”
