The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) arrested Mark Renner, 68, of Yulee, on March 10, 2025, on 26 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material.
The investigation began in December 2022 when FDLE agents received a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Endangered Children (NCMEC) regarding files depicting child sexual abuse being uploaded from a peer-to-peer website. The investigation traced the uploads to Renner’s residence.
In September 2023, FDLE agents executed a search warrant at Renner’s home, where they seized multiple electronic devices. Forensic analysis of the devices revealed more than 480 files of child sexual abuse material.
Renner was booked into the Nassau County Jail. The case is being prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, Fourth Judicial Circuit. The Nassau County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the investigation.
