Jacksonville Police Arrest Street Racer, Driver Faces Deportation

A 21-year-old man was arrested after Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office officers spotted a white Ford Mustang performing donuts and burnouts on Atlantic Boulevard.

Officers quickly stopped the vehicle and determined that the driver did not have a valid license. He was arrested and charged with violating Florida’s street racing and stunt driving law, as well as driving without a valid license.

Authorities later confirmed that the man was not a U.S. citizen and now faces potential deportation as a result of his actions.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office emphasized the dangers of reckless driving, noting that illegal street racing poses a risk to both participants and the public. Law enforcement officials have vowed to continue cracking down on such activities.
