Harold Tittle, 33, of Lakeland, an assistant coach for the “Bat Intentions” team of the Lakeland Girls Softball League, was arrested on April 26 by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) on multiple felony charges related to the sexual exploitation of a minor.
Tittle is charged with unlawful use of a 2-way communication device (F3), transmitting material harmful to a minor (F3), and four counts of possession of child pornography (F3).
The investigation began on April 25, 2025, when a relative of a teenage girl reported inappropriate sexual conversations and the exchange of explicit nude photos and videos between the girl and Tittle, who was known to the family.
Detectives discovered that Tittle solicited nude pictures via Snapchat from the then 16-year-old girl, specifically requesting naked photos of her buttocks and breasts. This solicitation and grooming led to the exchange of more sexually explicit images and videos. Tittle also sent nude pictures of himself to the victim.
When contacted by a PCSO detective, Tittle reportedly confessed as soon as Snapchat was mentioned. He admitted to sending a nude image of himself to the victim and asking her to send him nude photos. Tittle also admitted to using another device to take pictures and record at least one video of the victim while the images were displayed on Snapchat. Detectives recovered these images from Tittle’s cell phone, which constituted child pornography.
Tittle further acknowledged that he knew the victim was 16 and 17 years old during the image exchanges, stating that he used “bad judgement.”
While Tittle denied victimizing any other girls, including those on his softball team, Sheriff Grady Judd urged anyone with information about inappropriate contact from Harold Tittle with any underage child or teen to come forward.
“Tittle’s actions are reprehensible. He groomed this girl to provide sexually explicit content,” said Sheriff Grady Judd. “Though he has denied victimizing other girls, we ask anyone—parents or kids—to talk to us if they know of any inappropriate contact from Harold Tittle with any underage child or teen.”
Based on the information, admissions, and recovered evidence, Tittle was arrested and booked into the Polk County Jail.
