Orlando Man Sentenced to Over 7 Years in Federal Prison for Meth Distribution

U.S. District Judge Paul G. Byron has sentenced Robert Donoso, 33, of Orlando, to seven years and three months in federal prison for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. Donoso pleaded guilty on February 26, 2025.

According to court documents, Donoso was involved in importing and distributing methamphetamine for approximately a year before his arrest in April 2024. In April 2023, he received a vehicle shipped from California containing around 15 kilograms of methamphetamine and 10 pounds of marijuana hidden in a concealed compartment.

On April 8, 2024, Donoso received a delivery of 11 kilograms of methamphetamine from Pherai Bogeajis and was detained by law enforcement. The following day, a search of Bogeajis’s residence led to the discovery of an additional 50 kilograms of methamphetamine and more than $700,000 in cash.

Bogeajis, 35, also of Orlando, pleaded guilty for his role in the conspiracy and was sentenced in November 2024 to 19 years and 7 months in federal prison.

The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration with assistance from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the Orlando Police Department, and the Oviedo Police Department. It was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Dana E. Hill.
