Human remains were located in a wooded area near a residence on Carter Braxton Road on June 13, 2025, as part of a follow-up investigation into the missing person case of Alfred Waymon Munson. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) Investigation Division responded to 2165 Carter Braxton Road, where a CCSO Human Remains Detection canine team led investigators to the discovery.
