On Friday, June 20, 2025, around 10:48 p.m., Daytona Beach Police responded to a shooting at South Turn Lounge and Restaurant, 1540 S. Nova Road, where three individuals were struck by gunfire and later transported to a local hospital with non–life-threatening injuries.
According to investigators, suspect Anthony Kaznakoff, 28, had been consuming alcoholic beverages inside the lounge before staff asked him to leave for belligerent behavior. After being escorted outside, Kaznakoff returned moments later, retrieved a handgun from his waistband, and fired multiple rounds toward the front entrance, hitting three patrons. He then fled the scene in a vehicle.
Detectives quickly identified Kaznakoff and located his residence, where family members reported he had come and gone on foot. Kaznakoff ultimately surrendered to officers by phone with no further incident. He is now in custody pending charges of three counts of aggravated battery with a firearm.
The Daytona Beach Police Department extends its gratitude to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office and South Daytona Police Department for their assistance. The investigation remains active.
