Registered Sex Offender Arrested in Attempted Child Abduction at Daytona Business

The Daytona Beach Police Department has arrested a suspect in connection with an attempted child abduction that occurred on July 11, 2025, at a business located at 2455 W. International Speedway Blvd.

According to police, a man entered the business, exposed himself, and attempted to abduct a child by grabbing their arm. The child screamed, alerting others, which caused the suspect to flee. The child was not injured and did not require medical attention.

Through investigative efforts and use of technology, detectives identified the suspect as 55-year-old Timmothy Hall. An arrest warrant was issued, and Hall was taken into custody in Jacksonville with assistance from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.

Hall is a registered sex offender with a prior conviction for Lewd and Lascivious conduct involving a minor. He is now facing charges related to the attempted abduction.
