Orlando Police Arrest Man With Fentanyl-Laced MDMA, Pounds of Cannabis

The Orlando Police Drug Enforcement Division has arrested 49-year-old Willie Barnes following an investigation into illegal narcotics sales in Pine Hills, FL. Officers executed a search warrant and took Barnes into custody after discovering 30 MDMA pills laced with fentanyl in his possession, weighing approximately 14 grams.

A search of Barnes’ residence revealed an additional 73.5 grams of fentanyl-laced MDMA, 2.4 pounds of cannabis, 5.6 grams of THC, 3.4 grams of Xanax, and 1 gram of Oxycodone. Officers also seized two vehicles and $1,050 in cash.

Barnes is charged with:

  • Trafficking in 4 Grams or More of Fentanyl
  • Delivery of a Controlled Substance
  • Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device

The investigation is ongoing.
