YULEE, FL – The Nassau County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) has arrested Elijah Johnathan Pease, 19, on seven counts of possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The arrest followed a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
In February 2025, NCSO received a tip including six files of child pornography associated with the suspect’s IP address. This was not the first tip; the department had received two similar reports associated with the same IP address in 2023 and 2024.
In July, NCSO, in collaboration with the Northeast Florida INTERCEPT Task Force, executed a search warrant at Pease’s address on Railway Place. Detectives seized and searched Pease’s cell phone, where they found seven files depicting CSAM.
Pease was booked into the Nassau County Jail & Detention Center on a bond of more than $70,000.
The Northeast Florida INTERCEPT Task Force is a collaborative effort of various law enforcement agencies from across Northeast Florida, dedicated to combating child exploitation and human trafficking. The task force is supported by Operation Lightshine, a non-profit organization that provides resources and technology to aid in investigations.
