Fugitives Wanted for Armed Burglaries Arrested in Suwannee County

SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla.—A man and a juvenile wanted on multiple charges, including firing shots at a homeowner during a series of armed vehicle burglaries, have been arrested in Suwannee County.

On September 5, the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office, working with the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia, located and arrested Yoseph Robinson of Live Oak, Florida. Robinson was wanted in Pierce County in connection to the armed burglaries.

Shortly after Robinson’s arrest, investigators developed information on the location of a 17-year-old juvenile also wanted in the same crimes. Deputies, with assistance from undercover officers with the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, conducted a felony traffic stop on US Highway 90. The juvenile was taken into custody without incident.

The Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office drone unit provided aerial security during the operations, which authorities say was crucial for the safe and effective arrests. The Sheriff’s Office highlighted the arrests as an example of successful interagency cooperation.
