The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) announced that 21-year-old Keith Johnson has been charged in a second murder case, adding to the charges he already faces in the killing of 7-year-old Breon Allen earlier this year.
Johnson is now accused of murdering 43-year-old Valondia Norris in April 2024. He was initially arrested for accessory after the fact and tampering with evidence in connection to Norris’ death, but after a lengthy investigation, homicide detectives gathered enough evidence to charge him directly with murder.
Another suspect, 21-year-old Dannel Larkins, is also charged in the murders of both Allen and Norris. Larkins was additionally arrested last week in connection to a third murder.
Both Johnson and Larkins remain behind bars at the Duval County Jail. JSO officials emphasized their commitment to working with the State Attorney’s Office to ensure justice is served in each case.
