On Sunday, October 26, 2025, officers responded to the 400 block of NW 10th Street in Gainesville, FL, after reports of a male exposing himself and engaging in lewd behavior in public.
Upon arrival, officers located the suspect, Stacey Scott, born September 12, 1974. When officers attempted to make contact, Scott fled on foot.
Later, he was spotted again on NW 10th Street. With assistance from the University of Florida Public Safety, a perimeter was established, and Scott was taken into custody following a short foot pursuit.
Scott was arrested for felony indecent exposure and transported to the Alachua County Jail. He is a nine-time convicted felon and has at least two prior arrests for indecent exposure.
