JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – Detectives with the Jacksonville Beach Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU), along with SWAT and patrol officers, executed a search warrant at a home in the 900 block of 5th Avenue North as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
During the search, officers arrested Lance Kirkland and Candance Camarigg on multiple drug-related charges.
Kirkland faces several felony charges, including possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of ammunition by a convicted felon, trafficking methamphetamine, sale of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a park, and sale of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a place of worship.
Camarigg was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police say the arrests followed an investigation by SIU detectives into suspected methamphetamine distribution in the area. The Jacksonville Beach Police Department has not released further details as the investigation continues.
