The primary goal of the operation was to verify the compliance of registered sexual offenders and predators living within Osceola County’s jurisdiction. Deputies also performed searches, compliance checks, and documentation reviews for individuals on the Sexual Predator Watch List to ensure adherence to all state and local registration laws.
During the operation, deputies made contact with 72 probationers, conducted 50 probation searches, and inspected 33 GPS monitoring devices. In addition, throughout the month of October, a total of 37 sexual offenders and predators were arrested for violations including statutory sexual offense restrictions, new criminal offenses, and probation violations.
All individuals taken into custody were booked and transported to the Osceola County Jail.
The Sheriff’s Office emphasized that these operations are part of its ongoing commitment to protecting residents by maintaining strict oversight of registered offenders and predators within the community.
