Orlando SWAT Operation Leaves Teen Dead, Firearms and Drugs Seized

On November 14, 2025, the Orlando Police Department conducted a SWAT operation at 4864 Edgewater Drive targeting a tattoo shop suspected of illegal drug and firearms activity. The investigation began in September after an anonymous tip reported narcotics sales at the business. Surveillance over the next two months identified nine individuals involved in drug transactions, some with criminal histories including burglary, armed robbery, and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.

When SWAT arrived to serve a search warrant around 2 p.m., officers observed a registered gang member unrelated to the warrant running from the rear of the shop with an AK-47-style rifle. Officers issued commands, but he did not comply, prompting officers to fire multiple rounds. The armed individual fled back inside but was not injured.

During the operation, 15-year-old Kaleb Williams, who was associated with the warrant, was found deceased near the rear door. A stolen firearm was recovered from Williams’ body.

The search yielded five additional firearms, multiple boxes of ammunition, 190 grams of cannabis (some prepackaged), NARCAN, and paraphernalia including scales and a vacuum sealer with bags. Three other individuals linked to the warrant were located inside the business, while charges for them and the armed gang member remain pending. The investigation into the incident and the full circumstances surrounding the shooting are ongoing.
