The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office carried out a coordinated narcotics operation early Friday, November 21st, targeting two locations just outside the Jasper city limits. The Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, together with the Narcotics and Street Crimes Unit and the Criminal Investigations Division, executed two simultaneous search warrants on the southwest side of the county.
Investigators seized a significant quantity of illegal drugs along with multiple firearms from the properties. According to the Sheriff’s Office, one of the residences had been functioning as a hub where controlled substances were stored, sold, or used. Because of repeated illegal activity and ongoing complaints from residents, the location had previously been designated a public nuisance.
Four individuals were taken into custody on a range of narcotics and weapons charges. Officials say the investigation is still active, and additional charges may follow as evidence is processed.
Sheriff Brian S. Creech praised the investigators for their persistence and long hours spent advancing the case. He also emphasized that community reports play an important role in driving these operations, noting that residents’ concerns are heard and acted upon.
