Repeat Offender Arrested After Narcotics Search Turns Up Drugs and Guns in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Jacksonville man with prior felony convictions was arrested after a narcotics search at his Holiday Hill apartment uncovered drugs, firearms, and other evidence, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO).

Detectives with the JSO Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant last week with assistance from the SWAT team. Inside the residence belonging to 36-year-old Ryan Wright, officers reported finding 49.10 grams of MDMA, 35.4 grams of cocaine, 5.9 grams of fentanyl, 1,682 grams of marijuana, and two firearms, one of which had been reported stolen.

Wright has previous arrests for drug offenses and robbery. He is now facing more than a dozen additional charges stemming from the investigation.
