Detectives with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year-old Yezmar Angeanis Ramos-Figueroa of Kissimmee on November 26, 2025, after an investigation revealed she had been sending explicit material to a 13-year-old student. Ramos-Figueroa, a Physical Education teacher at Central Point Christian Academy, faces felony charges of distributing obscene material to a minor and transmitting harmful material to a minor.
The case began in mid-October when the victim’s mother contacted authorities about possible inappropriate communication. Detectives interviewed the child and recovered text messages and photos that had been sent to the student’s phone.
Ramos-Figueroa met with detectives Wednesday morning and admitted to sending the messages and a photograph to the minor. She was taken into custody and booked into the Osceola County Jail.
Investigators are asking anyone who believes their child may have had inappropriate contact with Ramos-Figueroa to call the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office at 407-348-2222.
