LEVY COUNTY, Florida – William Warner of Morriston, Florida, was arrested for three counts of Lewd and Lascivious Molestation after a month-long investigation by the Levy County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO). The arrest comes as a potential violation of the supervised probation he was serving following a 2023 conviction for Aggravated Child Abuse.
The LCSO Uniformed Patrol responded to a residence in Morriston in November 2025 regarding allegations of sexual misconduct by Warner. Warner was reportedly on supervised probation for Aggravated Child Abuse and was restricted from leaving Ocala, Florida.
LCSO Deputies, assisted by the Department of Children and Families, conducted initial interviews which determined that a deeper investigation was necessary.
LCSO Criminal Investigation Detectives Corporal Mike McNeil and Detective Ryan Sullivan took over the case. Three juveniles were forensically interviewed by the University of Florida Child Protection Team. Detectives also interviewed numerous individuals and seized Warner’s vehicle for further analysis.
The investigation concluded with the arrest of William Warner for three counts of Lewd and Lascivious Molestation. He is currently being held without bond.
