FORT PIERCE, Fla. — The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office has released an update in its ongoing homicide investigation involving 31-year-old Arkel Tymere Garcia.
Garcia, who was previously sought for questioning in connection with a homicide that occurred on Nov. 28, 2025, at 604 S. Market Avenue in Fort Pierce, has been located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Investigators say Garcia remains a person of interest in the St. Lucie County case. Authorities also confirmed he is wanted in Philadelphia in connection with a separate homicide and for a parole violation related to his release from prison in 2024.
The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to work closely with the Philadelphia Police Department as the investigation moves forward.
At this time, the investigation remains active, and officials say additional information will be released when it becomes available and appropriate.
The sheriff’s office thanked the public and its law enforcement partners for their continued assistance and cooperation.
