Jacksonville Officers Arrest Felon Accused Of Five-Day Armed Robbery Spree

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 21-year-old convicted felon is in custody after police say he carried out a series of armed robberies targeting fast-food restaurants and convenience stores across Jacksonville over five days in January.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, Jaheim Muhammad was arrested in connection with multiple robberies that began on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. Investigators say Muhammad robbed a Dollar General on Old Kings Road, pointing a gun at a store employee and fleeing with hundreds of dollars in cash.

The following day, detectives say Muhammad robbed a gas station on Old St. Augustine Road, again using a firearm to threaten an employee before leaving with cash. Surveillance footage from that robbery helped investigators connect him to the earlier Dollar General incident.

Police say the robbery spree continued on Saturday, January 17, when Muhammad entered a Whataburger on San Jose Boulevard, pointed a gun at the cashier, and took money from the register.

On Sunday, January 18, Muhammad attempted another robbery at a Domino’s Pizza on Cassat Avenue. Investigators said the cashier refused to hand over cash, and Muhammad left the scene in a rideshare vehicle. The driver later took him back to his apartment, where detectives with the Community Problem Response Unit arrested him.

Muhammad is facing multiple felony charges related to the armed robberies and remains held at the Duval County Jail.

Police credited coordinated efforts by the Robbery and Violent Crimes Unit, Community Problem Response Unit, Crime Analysis Unit, and the Real Time Crime Center for identifying and arresting the suspect.
