SANFORD, Fla. – In a disturbing case, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) has arrested Blake Edward McKinniss, 37, of Sanford, on a staggering 100 counts related to the possession of child sexual abuse material and AI-generated child pornography.
The investigation began on January 27, 2026, after the FDLE received over 70 cyber tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) regarding an individual using the internet to upload, view, and store images depicting the sexual abuse of children, as well as generate and download AI-created images of child sexual abuse.
Through their investigation, agents identified McKinniss as the individual responsible for these heinous acts. On March 9, FDLE Cybercrime Task Force agents and the FDLE Special Operations Team executed a search warrant at McKinniss’ residence, where they seized multiple electronic devices. A preliminary forensic analysis revealed the presence of numerous digital files containing child sexual abuse material.
During the search, agents also discovered an anatomically correct, child-like sex doll and children’s underwear at McKinniss’ home, further underscoring the disturbing nature of this case.
McKinniss was promptly arrested and transported to the Seminole County Jail. The Sanford Police Department and the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the search warrant and arrest.
The Attorney General’s Office of Statewide Prosecution is now prosecuting the case, and additional charges may be forthcoming pending further forensic analysis.
