Brazilian Man Arrested in Ocoee in Child Sexual Abuse Material Case, ICE Hold Placed

OCOEE, Fla. – A man is in custody following a statewide child exploitation investigation led by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

FDLE agents arrested 32-year-old Jhonatan Marcello Tulio in Ocoee on two counts of possession of child sexual abuse material and one count of transmission of such material.

The investigation began in November 2025 after agents received a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The tip indicated that an individual was uploading and sharing child sexual abuse material through multiple instant messaging applications.

Authorities said further investigation identified Tulio as the user and owner of the accounts involved.

On March 12, FDLE Cybercrime Task Force agents, along with the FDLE Special Operations Team, executed a search warrant at Tulio’s residence in Ocoee. During the search, agents seized an electronic device as part of the investigation.

Tulio was taken into custody and transported to the Orange County Jail. Officials said he is also being held on an immigration hold pending removal proceedings, as he is a Brazilian national.

The case is being prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office of Statewide Prosecution.

The investigation remains active.
