JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has arrested two suspects in separate unsolved cases, crediting public tips and investigative work for the breakthroughs.

Authorities said 38-year-old Bobby Beaty was arrested on March 18, 2026, in connection with a burglary that occurred on January 15. Investigators say Beaty broke into a downtown restaurant off North Main Street and stole more than $900 worth of merchandise.

Police had recently featured Beaty in a “Wanted Wednesday” post, and he was taken into custody just days later.

In a separate case, 25-year-old Jahnairria Waters was arrested on March 19 for grand theft. According to investigators, Waters entered a sporting goods store on the Northside on December 2, 2025, stole multiple items, and fled the scene in a rented vehicle.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office emphasized that community involvement played a key role in both arrests.

Officials also reminded residents about the department’s Unsolved Crimes page, encouraging the public to review cases and share any information that could help investigators.

Authorities noted that tips can lead to cash rewards and reiterated their commitment to solving crimes and holding offenders accountable.
