GAINESVILLE, Fla. — A dispute over a food delivery escalated into an armed confrontation Wednesday afternoon, resulting in the arrest of two individuals, authorities said.
Deputies responded on March 25, 2026, to the 5000 block of Northeast Waldo Road after a caller reported that someone had pulled a gun during an argument.
According to investigators, the victim had ordered takeout that was not delivered and contacted the delivery person, later identified as 27-year-old Jacquez De’Onte Keith, to meet at a different location. Keith arrived with 26-year-old Calista Nicole Crenshaw, and the three became involved in a verbal dispute.
During the altercation, the victim began recording the interaction on a phone. Deputies said Crenshaw then produced a handgun and pointed it at the victim while continuing to yell, which was captured on video.
Authorities said Keith exited the vehicle and walked away while Crenshaw drove off. The victim then contacted law enforcement.
Using real-time intelligence, deputies located the vehicle in the 15000 block of Northwest 150th Court in Alachua and made contact with both suspects. Investigators later recovered the firearm from a residence in Gainesville.
Crenshaw was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and improper exhibition of a firearm. Keith was arrested and charged with tampering with evidence.
The investigation remains ongoing.
