ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — Authorities are investigating a road rage-related shooting that left one person seriously injured, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the intersection of Palmetto Road and A1A South following reports of a disturbance that escalated into gunfire.
One individual was detained at the scene, and officials confirmed there are no outstanding suspects.
The victim sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a local trauma center for treatment. Their condition has not been further updated.
